Taiwan 2005 - Filler Episode 3 (Valentines, concert)

Yea you know the drill: everytime there's a filler eppy there'll be a big update a few days later :D (or so)

Ah well, previews:






Lemme start from Thursday...which is 七夕 Valentines (in Lunar Calendar)...and yea well there weren't very many things to do.  So Abel + Welma + me went to Ximen for whatever reason.

Yea and there are people that are just sooooo sick of Valentines~~~hahahah see the picture for yourself.

Later when we were walking around again...we saw that 去死去死團 again...and they've grown into a protest of sorts...(7mb 12sec)


And that caused some problems because they didn't ask for petition for the assembly and it was drawing a large crowd in front of the MRT station...hahahah kinda feel bad for those people though =[

Okay moving on to the next day...


So yesterday my mom and I went to the National Concert Hall to listen to...


...this!  For those that can't see, it's the Ministry of National Defense Symphony Orchestra...basically the army people playing classical music.


This is inside the National Concert Hall...


This was the program that night...yeah it was a family event so that's why the pieces chosen were....yeah.  OMG the Army's orchestra is on par with UCI Symphony Orchestra...it's scary...:O

In the end the band...in a roar of "encore"s played two more pieces...one is...Hungarian Dance No. 5 (band style)...and the other...hmmm 讓我聽到差點從椅子上摔下來

雄偉的國防部示範樂隊居然演了櫻桃小丸子的主題曲.........||| 讓我大開「耳」界~~~


Anyway lemme end with the National Concert Hall's luxurious-looking...random place.  Yeah.
